EPGold's Flash Intro

John Wilkinson To Visit "A Private Party"  In   Holland At  The Elvis
International Shop"  .

The famous rhythm guitar player, Elvis' close friend and solo artist John
Wilkinson  will  visit a "Private Party"  In  Holland At The The Elvis
International Shop"  in Beverwijk, August 18, ( Thirsday evening ) 2005.

John and Elvis' passion for music was not the only aspect that connected
Elvis and John, but also a deep friendship John still feels connected to....

John Wilkinson and Andylon Lensen are both hounered  to pay tribute since
it's 28 years ago since Elvis passed away. The Elvis International Shop was
the very first Elvis shop in the Netherlands. Started in 2001, we thought it would
be a great idea to celebrate this  with some friends, custumers from her shop and
some members from Ep.Gold.Com website.

Photo:André Mester holds proudly one of the first copies of "Elvis: Born To
Rock" in his hands!

Next to our special guest John Wilkinson, one of the producers from the
Behind The Image - Praytome team Andre Mester will attend our Private Party.

And last but not least our Dutch singer Priscilla whom just finished her new
and 1st album
"Trying To Get To You" .

Very well done indeed."

Andrew Hearn
Essential Elvis Magazine

The Most Highly Anticipated Elvis Book Ever Published
Those of you familiar with Bud Glass's incredible DVD series and books know
what to expect.
Behind The Image Vol. 2 exceeds everything Bud has produced before.
.this deluxe giant hardback book will take its place at the top of every
Elvis fan's library."
Paul Lichter  Elvis Unique Record Club

"The quality and substance that is available in these productions are,
without a doubt, the very best CANDID
and CONCERT material to ever be released.  And... it's on-going!"

".With the BTI series making available new photos, film footage and amazing
stories, it is surely to inspire
future productions to... RAISE THE BAR"

Derek Phillips
Images In Concert

"In the world of half hearted Elvis books, Behind The Image Vol.2 tears
through the competition, and brings fans
back to what the Elvis legacy deserves.  Unmistakable is the name Bud Glass,
and his fantastic productions."

".Once again Glass takes us fans to the unknown world of Elvis through
fantastic, and witty stories told through
the eyes of fans "who were there."  If that is not enough, Glass not only
gives the story, but completes the image
with supporting photos from the first hand story tellers, allowing those of
not fortunate enough to have met the king,
a glimpse of their cherished memories."

".Praytome, and Bud Glass Productions obviously took their time to ensure a
top of the line product for a fraction
of what I would be willing to pay for this book.  I would encourage any
collector or casual fan to buy this book, because
it is a guaranteed collectible, and fantastic reference book."

Daniel Calderaro

And now, in the tradition of Bud Glass Productions and Praytome Publishing,
we are proud to announce the release of the official video trailer for the new BTI 2 book.
See first hand a brand new video preview of what is in store for you with this exciting new book.
520 beautiful photos, over 50 illustrations to add depth to each story and put you in the middle of the
action as it unfolds before your very eyes.  High Quality paper stock was used as well as a
special paper treatment to keep fingerprints from adhering to the high gloss pages.  Every effort was
made to ensure the excellence that we insisted on in making this hardback book into a truly unique creation.

We are proud to be the first to pioneer the production and release of video
trailers for our library of  books as well as our dvd releases.  We feel this gives the fans a better
grasp of the extreme effort required to create and produce such productions, and gives them a glimpse of
what is in store for them in each exciting new release.

THAT'S THE WAY IT IS FOOTAGE.

Doing the rounds on the bootleg market for prices as high as £1000 a throw
is 20 hours of 'That's The Way It Is' footage degenerated and cropped
quality which contains many unreleased performances.

I saw the footage over the weekend. A good friend of mine has it and I was
kindly invited to watch it.
My god, I was blown away It was not cropped, quality was very good, I was
flabbergasted.

Of course, it is not 20 hours of all that excitement, lots of known songs
from different camera angles and no sound, but the nuggets I just mentioned
made a very BIG impression on me.

How I wish I had the footage myself...but, at least I saw it!

Yesterday rehearsal July 15

Tiger Man from Opening Night August 10

You've lost That Loving Feeling August 11, midnight show

Words is there also, show version, the sound is not on with the camera but
if you play the cd you will get the full experience  August 12 Midnight
show.

Stranger In The Crowd in the red leather suit August 13

Little Sister/Get Back, lots of camera angles.

I was The One is only partly there.

Are You Lonesome Tonight is there too, and also with about 6 different
camera angles.

Just Pretend the same version we already had but with different camera
angles.

Mystery Train just before he went into Tiger Man he gave the guitar to
Charlie if I remember correctly.

It's wide-screen, and the quality looks very good indeed and not cropped.
Of course it wasn't cleaned up like the footage in SE but I don't feel it
was transferred to VHS first. Looks like film to digital transfer.

Other rare footage includes:

Elvis walking through the hotel in the blue suit
After show party in black outfit with B.B. King and Kenny Rogers!!
Backstage footage
Before shows
Joking around with the band members,
After show footage and much more

The 20 hours of footage also contains lots of known songs from different
camera angles and some with no sound.

Simon.

From what has been mentioned, it is highly likely that much of this footage
will receive a decent audio overdub from the audio source, and the
extraneous stuff edited out.

One thing is for certain, if the professional film company does not do this
soon, we are sure that someone else out there will!

But not everyone thinks the release of this footage is good news.

One Elvis collector wrote: "I can assure you that we collectors are
certainly diligent about keeping things quiet, and under wraps, but I am
certain that a certain COLLECTOR not in the US, is creating a very lucrative
enterprise with horrible copies, and is the PRIMARY source for the upcoming
material about to hit the market.

I advise once again, DO NOT BUY THE MATERIAL! This warning has nothing to do
with investment, greed, or hoarding as one member put it, its simply to help
those fans interested in not losing their hard earned money."

Elvis flavored "Cry Baby" released as "Director's Cut" DVD in the USA.

John Waters' 1990 tribute to the teenage delinquent and Elvis Presley movies
of the 1950s remains his most popular and accessible film to date.

With a fantastic lead performance from Johnny Depp and an excellent
supporting cast made up of some interesting cult movie figures, Cry-Baby may
not pack the offensive punch his earlier material did but it's still one
hundred percent John Waters from start to finish and it's the perfect follow
up to his 1988 film, Hairspray. Depp plays Wade Walker, nicknamed Cry-Baby
for his strange ability to shed only a single tear.

He's perfect as Cry-Baby, bringing just enough pathos and Elvis-like swagger
to the role to really make it work. If this were Depp's show and Depp's show
alone, it'd be a good film but thanks to the motley crew of supporting
players, it's actually a great film.]

Celebriducks - "Elvis" Hits the Water.

Following is a press release from new EPE licensee, Celebriducks:

RUBBER DUCK DRESSED LIKE ELVIS PRESLEY HITS MARKETS THIS SUMMER.

San Rafael, California - July 28th , 2005 - Celebriducks, the original
creator of the first ever celebrity rubber ducks of the greatest icons of
film, music, athletics, and history has partnered with Graceland to release
their next Celebriduck, Elvis Presley. The ducks are being done as a limited
edition with each one individually numbered and will be unveiled at
Graceland for Elvis Week in August 2005. Each duck's 103 red sequin buttons
are all painted by hand. "From the response and advance orders we have
received, this will easily be the best selling duck we have ever created,"
said Craig Wolfe, Celebriduck's president.

Elvis, who is still as much a part of American culture now as he has ever
been has been in the company's sights for years now. As one of the greatest
icons of music history, it seems only natural for The King of Rock and Roll
to take his place in the world of Celebriducks where he will join the ranks
of The Godfather, James Brown; The Prince of Darkness, Ozzy Osbourne; the
soul men from Chicago, The Blues Brothers, and Kiss.

The company, whose ducks were voted one of the top 100 gifts by
Entertainment Weekly, featured twice on both The Tonight Show with Jay Leno
and CBS Evening Magazine, have produced them for the NBA, Major League
baseball, the NHL, and NASCAR have also done famous people such as
Shakespeare, Carmen Miranda, Mae West, James Brown, Charlie Chaplin, Mr. T,
Beethoven, and Collegiate Mascots. To date, the company has created over 200
different Celebriducks and have pioneered a whole new collectible.

Their work can be viewed at www.celebriducks.com.

The "Elvis" Celebriduck is licensed by Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc.

Singer prompts reunion of Elvis' musicians.

There's a musical Elvis Presley reunion under way, and the only thing
missing is the King of Rock n' Roll. John Krondes, a singer and songwriter,
has teamed with what he calls Elvis' "Hit Making Team." It includes The
Jordanaires and The Sweet Inspirations, as well as the TCB Band and the
Memphis Boys band.

"It's weird how all this is coming together," Krondes said over breakfast at
the Cracker Barrel on Barnes Crossing Road. "I'm not an Elvis impersonator.
That's not what this is about." He was in Tupelo this week to gather in the
Elvis mystique and to meet with Sigi Kramer and Angela Marley, a pair of
Elvis fans and Luxembourg residents who've been promoting Krondes' efforts
in Europe.

"We planned to come here for a year. We didn't know John when we planned
it," Kramer said.
"We thought this would be a great place to meet him, where it all began."
Actually, Krondes' story began in New York, where his late father, Jimmy
Krondes, was a songwriter.

He had a hit called "The End" that was recorded by Earl Grant in 1958.

People who know their Elvis history may remember Tupelo's favorite son sang
"The End" the first day he met Priscilla Beaulieu. "Elvis sang the song but
he never recorded it," Krondes said. A few years ago, Krondes was driving
through Las Vegas, where he saw a poster of The Jordanaires.

He said he was compelled to meet the legendary singers. "I told them about
my father and The End,'" he recalled. "They said, Sure, kid, send us a
tape.'" A CD isnow in the works and could be released in six months. There
have been recording sessions in Los Angeles and Nashville. Many of the songs
have been written by composers who provided tunes to Elvis.

The project has earned the backing of longtime Elvis friend Joe Esposito,
who now works for Wynn Hotels in Las Vegas. "I'm trying to help him as much
as I can," Esposito said. "These are my friends, and I think they're doing
some good songs. John came up with a fine idea."

Buy a guitar just like Elvis did.

Remember Elvis' first guitar? Well anyone may now purchase a guitar from
Tupelo Hardware where the Presley family bought that first guitar. James
Simmons and his son, Eddie, have been furnishing guitars to Tupelo Hardware
for the past two years.

Joe Perry of Aerosmith and Pam Tillis are among those who have purchased a
guitar.

Online, Eva Cassidy trumps Elvis

When Amazon.com released its Musicians Hall of Fame this month, ranking the
Top 25-selling CD's in the site's 10-year history, a few of the results
might have been surprising - Enya at No. 8? - but all the names on the list
were recognizable stars.

Except one: No. 5, Eva Cassidy. Cassidy was an angelic-voiced but
little-known singer whose death from cancer at 33, in 1996, inspired a
phenomenal demand for her renditions of songbook standards, jazz and gospel,
leading to six posthumous albums culled from unreleased recordings.

She's not necessarily out of place on Amazon's list, which skews wildly
toward white pop-rock (the only solo black artist is Ray Charles at No. 23)
and hardly reflects album sales beyond Amazon. But ahead of Bob Dylan (No.
9), Bruce Springsteen (No. 12) and Elvis (No. 25)?

The explanation probably lies in the rise of the Internet as a tastemaker,
and the explosive growth of online commerce that Amazon itself pioneered.
The independent Blix Street label began releasing Cassidy's recordings in
1998, the year Amazon added music to its inventory.

A word-of-mouth campaign, fueled by chat rooms and fan sites, began to seep
into the news media, and by December 2000 two Cassidy albums had pushed a
top-selling Beatles compilation down to No. 3 at Amazon, with three other
Cassidy albums at Nos. 4, 5 and 7. Just how many CD's she has sold on Amazon
to reach No. 5 is unknown; the company does not release sales information
other than comparative rankings. But thanks to Amazon consumers, Eva Cassidy
is enjoying an unlikely, and lucrative, sort of immortality.

Linda Thompson files for divorce.

Elvis' former girlfriend LINDA THOMPSON is heading for divorce again after
filing papers against her songwriter/producer husband in Los Angeles.
Thompson has cited "irreconcilable differences" for the split. Ironically,
Thompson and Foster currently appear as a happily married couple in reality
US TV show PRINCES OF MALIBU.

Sources claim the divorce was planned before the reality show aired.
Thompson, a former Miss Tennessee, was Presley's girlfriend when he died in
1977. Foster is famous for his Grammy Award-winning work with artists like
MADONNA, WHITNEY HOUSTON and CELINE DION.

This will be Foster's first divorce and Linda's second. The actress was
formerly married to Olympic athlete BRUCE JENNER. The Princes of Malibu has
developed a cult following and this week was the #1 search among TV shows on
Yahoo beating Desperate Houewives, and The Simpsons.

Over 40 pieces of fan art pulled from the Graceland Archives are being
displayed for the first time ever in a gallery setting. Soon after Elvis
Presley became an international singing sensation, fans started sending
their drawings, sculptures and paintings to Graceland. Every single piece of
fan art catalogued over the last 50 years has been kept in the guarded
Graceland Archives. For the first time the public is able to view part of
this unique collection of international fan art in a rare, one-month
engagement at Memphis Heritage located at 509 South Main Street in Memphis,
TN.

One of the many pieces on display is an oil painting of Elvis that dates
back to 1957. Several busts of Elvis by an Australian artist chronicle the
changing look of the King of Rock N' Roll from the 50's to the 70's. Other
artifacts displayed in the show include a pencil drawing sent in by a prison
inmate, a Graceland mansion needlepoint from South Africa and a stained
glass memorial left at Graceland's Meditation Garden. Even an Elvis on
velvet painting sent in by a fan has been pulled from the Graceland Archives
to be a part of this display of fan art from around the world.

The Memphis Heritage gallery located at 509 South Main is open to the public
Tuesday through Friday from 10AM - 5PM CST. After-hours showings are
available by appointment only. Call 901.529.9828 to make arrangements.

Just A Chat Between Ernst And Andylon On The New FTD Releases.

Hi Ernst, just wonder if there is any news on the FTD's Releases for

At the end we want them "ALL"  released  (which are deleted in the official
Catalogs) on the FTD & FTD Special Editions.

Can you tell me the date on the October CD " Summer Festival 72"  release?

Yes Andylon, this Soundboard - live show is from August 11, 1972  -  Dinner

Shreveport fans want guitarist's statue next to Elvis.

Efforts are underway here to raise money for a bronze statue of Shreveport
guitarist James Burton, once a band leader for Elvis Presley. The statue
would be placed near an existing statue of Elvis outside the Municipal
Auditorium, where Elvis performed on the old Louisiana Hayride show in the
early 1950s.

"I just think he has done almost as much as Elvis to put this place on the
map," said Martha Phillips, an Orange County, Calif., resident who said she
first visited the Hayride more than 50 years ago, even before Presley's
first peformance there. With help from the Shreveport Downtown Development
Authority, the local Elvis Angels Fan Club has raised nearly half the money
needed for the $50,000 statue. However, those efforts have hit a summertime
lull as the deadline to have the statue in place by mid-August approaches.

"It's slow. We really, really need some donations," said Dianne Patrick
Mitchell, president of Elvis Angels. Fans hope to unveiling the stature to
kick off the James Burton International Guitar Festival set for Aug. 19-21
in Shreveport. The festival's main event, the "James Burton and Friends"
concert, is set for Aug. 20 in Municipal Auditorium. Burton, a
Louisiana-born musician who still calls Shreveport home, played with Elvis
between 1969 and 1977. Johnny Wessler, executive director of Friends of the
Municipal Auditorium, said plans are to put Burton's statue to the left side
of Elvis.

"That's where he always played, right over his left shoulder," Wessler said.
"That's the way it was in just about every picture you see. He's right
there."

New book - "The Year the Music Changed".

Watching Elvis perform in Atlanta in 1956 inspired Diane Coulter Thomas to
write a novel called "The Year The Music Changed". It's a coming-of-age
story set in 1955 and told as a year-long correspondence between Elvis and a
14-year-old girl. The book will be published in September 2005 by The Toby
Press. Publisher's Weekly calls the book "a warm, lively and immensely
readable novel that will especially touch fans of "the King." (News, Source:

Gospel music, Elvis part of MSU history: Pete Lancaster remembers it like it
happened yesterday. All he was doing one July day in 1975 was a favor for
then-Murray State University President Dr. Constantine Curris by offering
whatever assistance he could to those running the Blackwood Stamps School of
Music, co-headlined by legendary Gospel acts the Blackwood Brothers and J.D.
Sumner and the Stamps Quartet. That included period visits to the Regents
Hall headquarters for those acts to see if there was anything they needed.
Then the phone rang and, with nobody manning the residence hall's main
office, Lancaster decided to answer it, having no clue with whom he was
about to speak.

"I said, 'Regents Hall, this is Pete Lancaster. How may I help you?' And the
person said, 'Uh, yeah Pete, is J.D. Sumner there?' So I hand him the phone
and he says in that low voice of his, 'Oh, hello Elvis,'" Lancaster
remembered, realizing how he had no idea that the voice had been that of the
King of Rock n' Roll himself, Elvis Presley. "No, I really didn't, but
you're just not expecting something like that. "Still, J.D. and his group
backed up Elvis in his concerts, and they were on just about all of his
Gospel albums, so it shouldn't have been a surprise that he'd call. I didn't
ask J.D. what it was about, either, but I figure it did have to do with them
doing something with Elvis later." Sumner and his group no doubt received
added attention from the music world through the relation with Presley, but
the group proved it could more than make a name for itself on its own.
Actually, that was probably etched into stone many years earlier.

The Stamps bear the name of V.O. Stamps, the man credited with first making
Gospel music a widely-known, commercial commodity. He founded the School of
Music in 1924 and eventually formed the first version of the Stamps Quartet.
Since then, the group has achieved perennial power status in the Gospel
world with the a cappella version of "Sweet, Sweet Spirit" still stirring
audiences to this day, around five years after Sumner's death at the age of
73. Several of its members are in the Gospel Hall of Fame, including Sumner,
who was with the Blackwood Brothers before becoming the Stamps' bass man.
The Blackwoods also were favorites of Presley, who attended many of the
quartet's conventions they hosted in his hometown of Memphis, Tenn. That
convention was started in 1956 in Louisville with Sumner and James and Cecil
Blackwood being the main organizers. Then, after Sumner had left to join the
Stamps in 1966, he and James Blackwood, lead singer of his group, headed the
school that came to Murray in 1972. Some three years later, that marriage
yielded history.

Gold Elvis suit in 1956?

A few alert members mailed us with a rather remarkable conclusion about the
latest McFarlane figurine.

The big poster right behind Elvis, announces a concert in New York on
September 10th 1956. Fifties experts will tell you that Elvis wasn't
anywhere near New York that day - let alone that he'd do a show that
evening. More so, he didn't even have the gold lame suit that Nudie's made
for him. So how can that suit be on the poster...?

A puzzling fact, but still the figurine is one of the very best done in the
McFarlane series. We've had it in the shop since July 1st, and it looks as
if this may very well be the summerhit of 2005.

Unique Award Presented To Nascar Champions In Memphis.

Hollywood has Oscar. Broadway has Tony. The NHRA has Wally. And now Memphis
Motorsports Park has Elvis.

In another display of the unique partnership between Elvis Presley
Enterprises and Memphis Motorsports Park, officials from both organizations
joined Memphis and NASCAR champions Bobby Hamilton and Bobby Hamilton, Jr.,
at the gates of Graceland today to unveil a one-of-a-kind trophy that will
be awarded to the winner of the NASCAR races in Memphis.

But not indefinitely. Adding to the trophy's allure and intrinsic appeal to
the racers is the fact that there will only be twelve produced over the next
five years - one each for the winning drivers of the summer Craftsman Truck
Series and fall Busch Series races, and one each for Graceland and Memphis
Motorsports Park.

"This trophy is a signature piece that will stand alone in NASCAR's victory
lanes," said Jason Rittenberry, Memphis Motorsports Park Vice President and
General Manager. "Like our first-ever NASCAR night race this Saturday, the
trophy is yet another chapter that we're proud to add to this city's storied
sports history, and something that the track and Graceland will proudly
display for all of our collective fans."

Bobby Hamilton, the current NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series champion and
winner of last year's O'Reilly 200, counts himself as one of those fans. "I
toured Graceland for the first time last week and was moved by it," Hamilton
said. "It was by far one of the best things I've ever done in my life. I am
excited to be a part of the unveiling of such a unique trophy for Memphis
Motorsports Park and hope I can be the first to win it. The tie-in with
Elvis is a great idea for the Memphis area and all of us Elvis fans out
there. You bet we will be fighting for that trophy."

Likewise, Hamilton Jr., who is currently driving in the Nextel Cup Series
and won the Memphis Busch Series race in 2003, is a fan of the idea and the
area. "I have very fond memories of Memphis Motorsports Park and winning
here, and the connection between racing and rock 'n' roll makes perfect
sense to me."

The trophy design - 27 inches tall and 60 pounds of cast bronze - is based
on the statue of Elvis that stands on Beale Street, the only statue ever
officially commissioned by Elvis Presley Enterprises.

Jack Soden (CEO, Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc.), Memphis and NASCAR
champions Bobby Hamilton Jr. and Bobby Hamilton, and Jason Rittenberry (VP &
GM, Memphis Motorsports Park) unveiled the track's new "Elvis" trophy inside
the gates of Graceland on Wednesday morning.

"Elvis was a sports enthusiast, cars were one of his passions, and he loved
Memphis. This award in his image embodies all three," said Jack Soden, CEO
of Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc. "Elvis is the face of our city, and you
can see that in this unique trophy. Fans from around the world love Elvis,
and now NASCAR drivers will have a chance to win the ultimate Elvis
collectible.

Kenny Chesney joins ranks of Elvis & Elton John.

Kenny Chesney is on his "Somewhere In The Sun" tour, and he's racking up

Elvis Presley and Elton John have sold out three nights in a row.

For the math-minded, that's close to 18,000 tickets per night. Chesney said
when they told him, it took him back a little bit. He said the first record
he ever bought was Elvis' "Greatest Hits" and he feels he's in some pretty
special company.

ELVIS WROTE PART OF BOOK SAYS JERRY PRESLEY.

Elvis is alive -  No, really. So says the King's self-proclaimed second
cousin Jerry Presley of Kansas City, and he's as serious as a heart attack.

Jerry Presley, you may recall, does an Elvis impersonator gig, locally and
nationally, purportedly with some of the Big E's original band.

Now, as if things aren't all shook up enough on the planet, Presley says
there's a whole lot more shakin' on the way. Presley says he's playing his cards close
to his vest for now, but here are the shocking truths I could pry out of him.

"There's a book out about the truth about Elvis. And it's (in part) written
by Elvis. It's written by a doctor named Donald Hinton. I'd love to spill my guts."

But only an "inner circle" of about five people knows the real truth,
Presley says, "And I'm part of that inner circle."

Hinton's book, is called The Truth About Elvis Aron Presley: In His Own
Words. A description on the bookseller Amazon.com says: "It presents the events of
Elvis Aron Presley's last 24 years as told to him by `The King' himself through a
collection of handwritten letters and cards, telephone conversations and
photos since his death in 1977."

What's more, Elvis has been living in seclusion as Jesse, the name of his
deceased twin brother, all this time, the book contends.

Expatriate Cowtowner Jack Soden -- the head of Memphis-based Elvis Presley
Enterprises worldwide -- was traveling and could not be reached for this
column. However, Todd Morgan, the Presley Enterprises director of media, says he's
skeptical of the book.

"It's just one of the many stories that have been out there," Morgan says.
"But we know Elvis died Aug. 16, 1977, and he's buried in the Meditation Garden at
Graceland, and there's no doubt about that whatsoever."

The skeptics are in for a big surprise, Presley says.

"He's about to come out. That's what the book's about. There's so much
inside stuff that can't be talked about right now."

What if...?
Say Jerry Presley's correct. A few months from now the E Man walks into
Morgan's office. Then what?

"I'd be thrilled if he turned out to be alive," Morgan says, laughing. "I
never got to meet him or see him perform. And I'd have a million questions to ask him,
too." The first: "Where the hell have you been? And can I keep my job, because I
really like it, and I'd really like to work with you."

The modern-day Elvis wouldn't be at all like people make him out to be,
Morgan says.

"He'd be in style for the times. That's what's so funny. He would have
updated his look. He wouldn't be wearing mutton chops or any of the stuff he wore
before."

If Elvis decided to move back into Graceland, the shag carpeting would most
likely be history, too, Morgan says.

"Graceland was in a constant state of change when Elvis was alive. He was
always changing things."  Further, Elvis wouldn't be able to just waltz in and pick
up where he left off in 1977.

"It would take a little while for me to believe it was him. Because at
first, I wouldn't believe it. He'd have to answer a lot of questions. But I don't think he'd
just show up. There'd be some sort of formal arrangement."

We've heard ...
So many Elvis rumors... So few truths. Who knows what to believe when it
comes to Elvis? Take second cuz Jerry...

"I've not met him, and we can't vouch for him one way or the other," Morgan
says. Fact is, the slagheap of Elvis shtick is monumental, Morgan says.

"You could have a bonfire that could be seen galaxies away if you piled up
every book or article, every falsehood ever written about him. There wouldn't be a
lot left to read comparatively if you eliminated the falsehoods."

ELVIS-A-RAMA GETS SERIOUS
Over $250,000 in 'Don't Be Cruel' Reality TV Show

In 1954, Elvis Presley walked away from his everyday job as a truck driver
into a recording studio, and his life was forever changed. Now a new reality
television show, "Don't Be Cruel," will offer the same opportunity to the world's best
Elvis tribute artist, who will drive away in a 1965 14-karat gold-plated Cadillac
and record an unreleased song co-written by Presley in 1973.

"Don't Be Cruel" is currently in production, with the first casting call
being held in Las Vegas this August 8-9, setting the stage for the creation of a new
legend.

Plans call for the winning contestant to also receive a $50,000 one-year
"dream" performance contract at the new Elvis-A-Rama Experience, projected to open
in the Hawaiian Islands in summer 2007. Hawaii was Elvis's favorite place to
visit -- his legendary 1973 "Aloha from Hawaii" special was the first concert to be
broadcast live via satellite, reaching more than a billion people.

Elvis-A-Rama, the popular Las Vegas attraction that showcases more than $6
million in authentic, Elvis-owned memorabilia, is spearheading the search
for the second coming of the King. Founder and curator Chris Davidson, one of the
world's most prominent private collectors of Elvis-owned material, is
determined to scour the corners of the globe for the ultimate tribute artist. Those
efforts will be recorded and televised in what is certain to be a hit show.

"Don't Be Cruel" is planned to be a 14-episode elimination series, and is
scheduled to air in 2006. Interactive television audience judging will be
conducted to prohibit any bias or skewed decisions determining the winners.
Elvis-A-Rama is in current discussions with Telescope Inc., a subsidiary of BMG and sister
company to Fremantle Media, to act as the tabulating firm for the "Don't Be
Cruel" television show. Telescope Inc. is best known as the firm handling voting
tabulations for the past four seasons of "American Idol," including a
staggering 500 million votes this year, as well as for new shows like "Rock Star INXS"
and Discovery Channel's "Greatest American."

In addition to recording the sure-hit "If I'd Only Bought Her Roses,"
written by Presley and Paul Terry King in 1973 but never recorded, the surviving
champion will be presented the keys to the "Elvis Dream Cadillac," a 14-karat
gold-plated Cadillac Eldorado, created by Hollywood car legend George Barris for EP
Cosmetics in 1986.

Barris Kustom Industries created the original Batmobile and Batboat for the
1966 television series, as well as the General Lee, KITT Trans-Am, Flintstone
Mobile, Ecto-1 Ambulance (from "Ghostbusters"), and the Delorean featured in the
"Back to the Future" trilogy.

"Elvis and I collaborated on building a gold-plated Eldorado that reflected
Elvis's tastes, similar to the 1960 Cadillac limousine I built for him," recalled
Barris, recognized as the King of Hollywood cars. That limo is currently on display
in Nashville at the Country Music Hall of Fame. The 1965 Eldorado is loaded
with an entertainment system, color television, guitar-shaped speakers and gold RCA
discs mounted into the tonneau cover. The car was reportedly insured for
$250,000 while on tour in Japan, and Mattel, Inc. made a miniature version
of the vehicle for its "Hot Wheels" Legend series. Elvis never got the opportunity
to see the car completed.

Several interesting cars that personally belonged to Elvis are on display at
the Elvis-A-Rama Museum in Vegas, highlighted by his 1960 black Rolls Royce
Silver Cloud II that was custom made for the King upon his return from the U.S.
Army.

The "Don't Be Cruel" series will reward the second-place performer with an
Elvis-owned diamond and gold medallion necklace, originally sold at public
auction by Butterfield and Butterfield, for $50,000 in 1994. The medallion was part
of the Elvis Presley Museum collection which was acquired directly from Elvis's
aunt, Delta Mae. The runner-up will also receive a $10,000 performance contract at the
Elvis-A-Rama.

It is planned for the additional top five runners-up to divide an additional
$20,000 in prize money. The five talented hopefuls will also each receive a 14-karat
gold TCB pendant-chain, which were originally designed by Elvis to be distributed
amongst his inner circle, the Memphis Mafia.

"Don't Be Cruel's" audience participation separates it from the many
impersonator contests held across the country by being completely impartial.

The ETA's will be required to sing their favorite song for the judges a
capella. Rhinestone jumpsuits and/or gold lame jackets are not required, but
certainly welcomed.

Voting will be assisted by a panel of celebrity judges, which will include
former Elvis Presley Museum owner-founder Jimmy Velvet. Velvet had minor success as a
recording artist, and was a friend of Elvis since 1955. Velvet opened the
Elvis Presley Museum across the street from Graceland in 1978 with Elvis's father
Vernon. He has also maintained museums in Nashville, Orlando and Honolulu,
as well as traveling exhibits. For fans that recognize the name, Velvet
currently gives personally guided Platinum tours at the Elvis-A-Rama Experience in Vegas and
plans to assist in the opening of the Hawaii location.

notes and many rare photos taken during July, August and September 1976
tours as well as some previously unpublished Dayton 06.10.1974 shots.
Hartford, CT, July 28, 1976, Jackson, MS, September 5, 1976 and Pine Bluff,
AR, September 8, 1976 - all previously unreleased. First generation copies
of original soundboard tapes were used in all cases. Unfortunately, none of
these concerts were recorded in their entirety by the sound engineer, but
only parts. The tracks from the October 6th, 1974 evening show in Dayton, OH
are a "bonus" and are taken from a significantly better sounding source
compared to the previous release of this material 5 years ago.

Amongst the CD highlights are fine renditions of "If You Love Me (Let Me
Know)", "Love Letters", "Hurt" (with a powerful reprise ending), a very
funny "Happy Birthday" sung to Jackie Kahane's daughter, a dynamite "Mystery
Train / Tiger Man", an unusual "Blue Christmas" that's coupled with an
instrumental version of "Jingle Bells" (!), a truly stunning version of "How
Great Thou Art", a pounding version of "Big Boss Man" and a rare 1978
interview with Jackie Kahane. "Across The Country Vol. 1" is set for July
2005 release.

It was a long journey, but ELVIS: BEHIND THE IMAGE VOL. 2 "WELCOME TO HIS
WORLD"
is finally complete!

My goal is to create the best possible quality productions at the cheapest
possible price for the fans. And as always, only 100% positive. We use the
highest quality paper in this full color hardback book, and used a special
coating to keep fingerprints from adhering to the pages.

This book took me over a year to create, and I think it is my finest work.
Twice as thick as volume 1, it contains an unbelievable 520 photos, 50
illustrations to add even more depth to the rare stories being told. More
private journal entries from Sandi Miller, who was there with Elvis at his
many California homes, as well as in his suite in Vegas, on the set of his
films, and at many of his rehearsals. Also included is first hand accounts
and photos of several fans who were lucky enough to meet Elvis. Their
stories have never been told ...until now.

Here is just some of what is included in
BEHIND THE IMAGE VOL. 2 "WELCOME TO HIS WORLD":

Experience Elvis being surprised with presents by fans in 1968 for Father's
Day, how he visits the USS Arizona War Memorial to whose construction he has
contributed with his benefit concert in 1961 - an Elvis who is just coming
home from the shooting of the 68 TV Special and still wearing the suit from
the Gospel sequence...

Accompany Elvis backstage during his Comeback engagement in 1969 in Las
Vegas, be present during the key commissioning of the first American Stutz,
experience more about the meeting between Muhammad Ali and Elvis and how
Muhammad Ali found himself standing in the ring in a Elvis jumpsuit design.
Behind The Image 2 is showing for the first time the photos which break all
speculations off, whether Elvis was present at the Ali-Frazier fight.

See Elvis's astonished face when he suddenly meets a double of himself, the
sensational photos of the private Elvis who leaves the Memphian Theater as a
true action hero; with two pair of Bruce Lee style Nunchakus in each
back pocket, and a gun tucked into the front of his pants. Experience Elvis,
the avid martial arts enthusiast in the karate studio together with Ed
Parker and later when he poses in the karate studio in a jumpsuit for common
fan photos.

The rumor that the late 70's Elvis was only tired and dull is totally
disproved by this book in reports and pictures: on one side there is an
Elvis totally inflamed with rage, who leaves his hotel because the air
condition has given up the ghost and runs into the next hotel directly
across the street to escape the summer heat.

Imagine Elvis a few days before his death on his Harley with a flower
arrangement on his carrier - without the company of his bodyguards - on his
way to Forrest Hill Cemetery where he lays down a bouquet at his mother's
grave. Behind The Image 2 does not only give you the story to this surely
unique moment, but provides also the according pictures. Also included are
several untold stories about the last few days of Elvis' life.

Experience for example how Elvis became "Mr. Lipton" and how he stops at
Taco Bell in 1970 on his way to work on his That's The Way It Is
documentary, and why he leaves by saying "Awwww F***".

Behind The Image 2 starts in 1956 and takes you through to August of 1977.

JOE GUERCIO - 2005 Founders Award Recipient.

Joe Guercio has enjoyed a prolific career, but he  is probably best known
and admired for his work  with Elvis Presley. He was musical director and
conductor for Elvis' concert shows from the summer  of 1970 to the summer of
1977  when Elvis made his last concert  appearance.

Guercio was musical director for the International Hotel in Las  Vegas when
the work with Elvis  began. Along with the obvious  contributions he made to
Elvis'  shows, including many of the triumphs  of Elvis' "concert era", it
was Joe Guercio who created  the now almost iconic six-note  theme for
Elvis' stage entrances  and bows. It was also Guercio  who suggested that
Elvis'  shows open with Theme from  2001 - A Space Odyssey (Also  Sprach
Zarathustra). The inspiration  came when Guercio and his late first wife
saw the now-classic science fiction movie in a theater,  for when the music
began Mrs. Guercio whispered  to her husband "You'd think Elvis was about
to enter."

Joe Guercio first left his native Buffalo, NY as an  accompanist for Patti
Paige. He has lived in Las  Vegas since 1967 and has been a musical director
for Diana Ross, Jim Nabors, Florence Henderson,  Diahann Carroll, Ann
Margaret, and Steve  Lawrence and Eydie Gorme, among others. His
arrangement of the medley Sweet Inspiration/Where  You Lead was a 1972 hit
for Barbra Streisand, and  his arrangement of The Way We Were/Try to
Remember was a 1975 hit for Gladys Knight.  Guercio's work with Natalie Cole
to reunite her on  stage in duet with her late father, Nat King Cole,
pre-dated her famous early 1990's duet recordings  and videos with Mr. Cole.
Guercio accompanied blues  legend B.B. King to Rome to  meet Pope John
Paul II and  perform in the Vatican's fifth  Christmas concert.

Joe now married to Penny  France Guercio, producer of  Special Events in Las
Vegas,  who was responsible for  Naughty Ladies Reviews and  the Sarah
Girls.  Joe has been instrumental in  helping ieba move forward  lending his
talents to the  iebaLIVE! Showcases and has  been a long time Board  Member.

50 YEARS OF HEARTBREAK.

January 10th 2006 marks the 50th anniversary of the recording of what became
the first RCA, Elvis Presley single "Heartbreak Hotel".

Here in the UK, Elvis' first few singles were not issued on the RCA label
due to the record company having no representation within the UK back in 1956,
and as a result, these were issued by the HMV label.

At this time, negotiations are underway to release limited edition singles
on the original HMV label and these will be only available in UK HMV stores.

There will also be limited edition singles on the RCA label which will be
available from any music stores across the country. There are also discussions
regarding the possible release of limited edition 10" HMV vinyls too.

The proposed January 2006 anniversary release should all but ensure Elvis
gets his 22nd UK number on.

There are also plans by Sony/BMG to release a digitally remastered album
featuring Elvis' first sessions for RCA in January 1956. During these
sessions, Elvis cut 13 masters for the label.

New DVD "Elvis The Memphis Flash - How It All Began".

On 15 August, Chrome Dreams in the UK will release this Region 2 DVD: "Why
was Rock 'n' Roll invented in Memphis by a quiet, respectable and religious
young man with a passion for all types of music? How did the events that led
up to that fateful session on 5th July 1954 conspire to create a brand new
music and a brand new way of life for all those who came along in its wake?

With contributions from those who were there at the time and from others who
have studied the subject in depth, and with rare footage and photographs,
and music from those pivotal sessions and from subsequent recording dates,
and with a host of other features, this film goes some way to discovering
the Why and the How.

It is the most detailed, informative and downright entertaining film yet to
emerge about this period and about these historical events". The DVD runs
for 80 minutes. Cat #: CVIS387. The DVD can be ordered from www.sendit.com.
