"This is the back of the softball jacket" Elvis enjoyed karate but was also caught between touchdowns in an Elvis Presley Enterprises team. If Elvis wanted to play football he did it in no less than full uniform. The games were played at local high schools and at Graceland by teams of friends, guests and the occasional ringer. EPE also had a west coast branch during movie shoots, consisting of Elvis, the Memphis Mafia, and any celebrities who wanted to join in. |

(On this photo you see the complete Softball team in front the gates of Graceland. On the right you see Vernon Presley) Elvis was an enthusiastic quarterback who, according to Lamar Fike, had a pretty good arm if given the protection. The competition in these games was fierce, and the action hot and heavy. During one session, Elvis broke his finger and had to be rushed to the hospital. |

"Elvis' Karate Suit" complete with 2 patches. The COA about these patches is as follows; While stationed in Seoul, Korea during my Army days I visited a local karate dojo to inquire about lessons. On the back wall of the business office I noticed a frame displaying two patches. Knowing about Elvis and his motto for TCB I asked about them. I was told that the previous owners has acquired them from Elvis himself during a visit to Kang Rhee's karate studio in Memphis. It seemed Elvis had these patches made up to adorn his flashy karate outfits. The other patch of the fist (seen on the right sleeve) is the logo of Kang Rhee's studio. Elvis spent many happy years practicing karate with Kang Rhee and earned his 8th Degree belt from Mr. Rhee. |

"Always Elvis" signed Reunion Program. It was signed by; Colonel Tom Parker, Tom Diskin and George Parkhill. The inside reads as follows: Dear Fans and friends of Elvis; "Always Elvis" was produced by fans and friends for fans and friends. It was given the same kind of respect and dedication that I have seen in the letters and scrapbooks that were sent to Elvis over the years. I'm glad you wrote those letters and made those scrapbooks, because knowing how you felt was a great help and inspiration to us. The "Always Elvis" team, which ranged in experience from Academy Award winning professionals to amateur photographers who donated photographs and materials from their personal collections, all had one thing in common..a love for a particular man and his music. In developing this production, it became apparent that the successfully capture even a part of the scope and the power of Elvis, we had to design a new medium..a multi-dimensional experience in Metavision. By using the newest optical, audio, computer, and design technology, we are able to project thousands of slides and miles of film on five screens with thirty three projectors. Elvis took us on a great journey and changed our lives and our times. |
