Signature is very bold in blue fountain pen

"George Klein Letter"

a handwritten letter from long time Elvis friend and DJ George Klein on WHEY Radio (Millington, Tenn.) letterhead giving directions to Elvis' house to someone named Karole Ebbesen. The envelope bears a February 17, 1959 postmark and the letter is in excellent condition. The letter reads:

Dear Karole- Here is how to get to Elvis' house - Go to Memphis - Go South on Bellevue - This leads you to Highway 51 South - Just Follow 51 South towards Whitehaven. Elvis lives on Highway 51 South. You can't miss his house - He lives on the left side of the Highway going South - There's a big stone fence around his home.

- George Klein.

"Ed Parker personal Elvis Presley Show ID Card"

This beautiful designed plaque was presented to Ed Parker by Elvis in 1973.

Elvis met Ed Parker when the Hawaiian-born karate instructor was recommended to him during a trip to California. In 1972, Elvis went to Parker's studio in Santa Monica and began to study at his school of karate in earnest. It was Parker's style of hand jabs and blows that Elvis used on stage when he demonstratedchis karate moves to adoring fans. Parker tried to use Elvis' name to promote a karate championship, but the Colonel refused to let Elvis participate and the incident created friction between Ed and Elvis for a period of time.

"Elvis Presley Show Member ID Card"

A handsome "Gold" finished metal wallet sized I.D. card that was originally prepared for Elvis' entourage, close friends and members of his show.

Each card bears Elvis' personal signature as he designed this card himself.

Original Elvis Presley sketch from IC Costume Company.

I purchased this piece and other related items from a gentleman who was employed by IC Costume Company in Hollywood California during the 1970s. This is the company that designed all of Elvis’ stage outfits as well as his personal clothing during 1969-1977. This is sketched by hand in pencil and reflects the two piece outfits Elvis was wearing during 1972. The sketch shows the high collar and flowing cape. What is interesting it also shows Elvis smoking a cigar, which was one of his passions during that time. Sketch measures 7” x 14” and shows age. Paper is very brittle and has ICC stamped in lower right hand corner.

(As you can see on these 2 photo's, the sketch was used for the "Madison Interview Outfit.")
