During the production of “Easy Come, Easy Go,” things weren’t quite  easy for Elvis. He’d never worn diving gear before so he had to learn how to walk with all that weight of scuba tanks. He insisted on doing most of his stunts which meant he had to learn the complicated but necessary techniques for underwater survival.

Synopsis;

While deactivating an underwater mine, Navy frogman Ted Jackson discovers a treasure chest in the hull of an old brigantine called Port of Call. Intrigued by the prospect of sudden wealth, he goes to Captain Jack, owner of a marine suply store and the best source of nautical lore in the area. Captain Jack tells him that Joe Symington, as the only descendant of the ship's  original owner, can tell him about the vessel, which he believes to be the Port of Call.

At the Symington place, Ted finds a group of scraggly hippie yypes doing yoga, transcendentall meditation and generally tuning in and dropping out. Time passes. Discharged from the Navy, Ted cons Judd into helping him go for the gold. But as they prepare to cast off, Captain Jack gets seasick and is replaced by Jo.

She makes it clear that he's just money hungry like the rest of the world, but she agrees to help if the money goes toward an art center for all her friends.

Meanwhile, Dina has lured Captain Jack onto her boat, and Gil has stolen his diving gear. Too late, Jack realizes that he has been kidnapped. On his own boat, Ted finds Gil's underwater picture with the chest circled. A message reads "Finders Keepers, Lover." By the time they reach the treasure, Gil and Dina are already submerged. Underwater, a bitter struggle ends in Gil's being floated to the surface by Ted. Ted insists on

splitting the money between Joe and Judd and Captain Jack, only to discover the coins are copper, not gold, and only worth about $4,000. They all decide to pool the money as a down payment on Joe's art center and Judd throws a benefit at the Easy Go-Go to raise the remainder.
