I am absolutely bowled over!

This is the best CD of new music I have heard in ages. And lead singer Jordi Majo is the best singers l've heard since the glory days of doo-wop, and he would have been great then, too.

Honestly, and without any exaggeration, I believe Jordj to be , like Mike Sanchez and Darrel Higham, the equal of his heroes, and possibly even better.

His voice is a high, often almost feminine instrument, witha superb command offalsetto, but it is also so sensuous, intense and beautiful. His English is superb, and the mixture of Smokey Robinson, Little Anthony and touches of Frankie Lymon.

And he's white! Actually he's from Barcelona and he's joined in the group by the brothers Christian andJ oan Carrasco, whoprovide excellent tight vocal backing.

But Jordi's a genuine talent, maybe even agenius. His treatment of Smokey's 'Bad Girl' is perfect and so soulful. The re-arrangement of Billy Storm's tour-de-force 'This is The Night' oozes sex , class and passion, and is justbeautiful.

And he wrote 'Weakness', a remarkable piece of daring doo-wop; just as beautiful here in its two versions - acapella and with band.

The band are good, and feature a really nice sax here and there, but I cannot get over the joy of hearing Jordi's heavenly voice. lt's breathy, confident, soaring and immaculate.

Why on earth people listen to the other crap they listen to defeats me, when there is beauty around like this, being produced by people who have to hold down a day job.

When this guy is rich and famous remember you heard about him first in NDT, and I've just had one of the best listening experiences of my whole life - the wonderful Earth Angels featuring Jordi Majo. You need to have this incredible CD.
