We want to make all Elvis Presley Fan Club Presidents aware of several legal actions that have taken place recently, and remind everyone of the steps to make sure all your Elvis-related activities are handled properly.
In addition to these actions, several more are currently underway and you will be hearing about them very soon. EPE will not tolerate infringement of our intellectual property rights, whether it's as part of the production, sale and distribution of bootleg merchandise, use in advertising, or in connection with the illegal distribution of bootleg DVDs and CDs.
As has been the case for many, many years, should you have a concert or event to raise money for charity, please contact This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it for a fan club permission agreement.
Any fan club found to be holding a concert or event, or producing or selling unofficial bootleg merchandise of any kind, will receive a legal notification letting you know of the infringement.
Should that activity not cease and desist immediately, the fan club will be in violation of their fan club agreement. Their status as an official Elvis fan club will be revoked and the appropriate legal action will be taken against them.
