On June 10, Dutch journalist and fan since the early days Lodewijk Rijff, passed away after a short fight with cancer. He was only 65 years of age.

From the early 70s till the 90s he wrote countless Elvis stories for the Dutch music press and was editor for Muziek Parade, PopBiz and Veronica weekly.

Among the Dutch fans he will be remembered best for his book "Elvis, De Biografie van een Fenomeen", published in 1977.
