APPEAL FOR WORDLWIDE AMBASSADORS!
As you know we recently announced the exciting launch of The Circle G Foundation:
Since the launch things have really taken off with many fans asking how they can help with the Foundation – this is where you as a fan club president can too, but first let me tell you how things have progressed in the last few weeks....
We are now a non-profit organisation!
Following a meeting we held in Memphis in September 2011, it became apparent to move the Campaign on to the next level we needed to build on all the work done over the past year and establish a non-profit organisation. This is now in full operation and we are pleased to announce the launch of our new improved website - www.circlegfoundation.co.uk Meet the UK and US teams - update!
I head up the team in the UK and Sue Mack from Memphis is at the helm for team US. Many of you will know Sue and if not you may know her partner Mike Freeman; together they operate Mike’s Memphis Tours.
Sue and I are supported by our teams – introductions to these wonderfully enthusiastic Elvis fans are now on our new web site. Both teams are working diligently on behalf of all of you to achieve our goal and secure the future of The Circle G!
Since our launch we have 2 fantastic additions to the US team:
Caroline Pratt from Nashville:
“Since I first saw Elvis' Circle G Ranch in January 09 my heart was drawn to help save it. This is an honor for me to be a part of the official team and I couldn't be more excited”
Rhonda Jackson from Memphis:
“I'm honored to be a part of this incredible project! I live seven miles from the ranch and was lucky enough to get the chance to tour it unconditionally last EW”.
Worldwide Ambassadors – update!
I am also delighted to announce Jim Zeraldo and Betty Perry from Canada are now Circle G Foundation Ambassadors. Jim and Betty expressed their desire to “promote and help in any way the Circle G Foundation. We all (Elvis fans) near and far have a vision of what the ranch can become and are 100% certain that if we give it all our love and time that we can make it happen”.
We need more like Jim and Betty - this is where YOU can help!
As a fan club president you have access to many Elvis fans - you can help us reach out to more fans and spread the word about the Circle G Foundation. We know Elvis fans are the best in the world and will be only too willing to give their support.
With your help as a “Circle G Foundation Ambassador” we can create more awareness about the campaign:
