As the undisputed King of Rock ‘n’ Roll, Elvis Presley remains one of the most iconic forces in music and popular culture and is today on the verge of another career milestone. 33 years after his premature departure the new Elvis’ song You Give Me Fever is released as commercial single.

Based on Presley’s classic Fever, the new song features the original voice of the King in a whole new context, with new rap vocals, new female vocals and an ultra-contemporary arrangement. You Give Me Fever is produced and co-written by Agostino Carollo Spankox, who in 2008 also produced the third official Presley’s remix released by Sony Music, Baby Let’s Play House, that topped the charts worldwide.

Elvis Presley’s You Give Me Fever is scheduled to be released as exclusive digital download from the Apple iTunes Store and on CD single on Aug. 16th, 2010, day of the 33rd anniversary of Elvis’ demise. Both the digital download and the CD edition of the single (available as deluxe digipack edition) include three versions of the song: a radio edit, an extended mix and a ringtone version.

This groundbreaking release marks the first time in history that a new, never released before Presley title is released and mass marketed since Elvis’s departure.
