Elvis Presley's daughter Lisa Marie has quit Los Angeles - for an English stately home near to the H.Q. of her weird religion, Scientology.

She moved this week with hubby Michael Lockwood (42) and their twin girls to an £8million pad close to Tunbridge Wells in Kent.

Pals say the cult member fled America to escape gossip surrounding late ex-husband Wacko Jacko. Her new home is heavily guarded with staff patrolling on quad bikes.

The 11-bedroom pad also boasts an indoor pool, cinema, sauna and lake in its 90-acre grounds. A source said: "She couldn't wait to start a new life in England and felt at home the moment she arrived."

It is close to the former home of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard near East Grinstead in West Sussex. Followers flock to study there each year.

Lisa Marie (42) is a devotee of the cult, claiming it helped her kick drugs at 18.

The super-rich singer has previously told how she loved Britain for its culture and damp climate - saying: "Any place that is perpetually sunny is suspect. I'm the only person who came to England for the weather."

But mum Priscilla (64) is said to be worried she will not see as much of 22-month-old granddaughters Finley and Harper.
