Michael Jackson, the self proclaimed King of Pop’s new album, 'Immortal' sold just 5,012 copies during its first week of release here in the UK, managing to
reach No. 65 on the UK album charts.
While Elvis Presley, the crowned King of Pop's album 'Viva Elvis' sold more than double with 14,088 copies during its first week of release in the UK and reached No.19.
However, in the U.S.A. Jacksons album has done better than 'Elvis' Viva' mainly because it is a peak time of the year for sales and because of all the publicity he has been getting with the Trials.
It only debuted at No.24 with sales of 45,214 which is still a bad result for the self-proclaimed 'King Of Pop'.
